Privacy Policy

In short. Taplun is built to respect your privacy. The photos you choose — whether they show a
face, a scene, a product or a building — are sent over an encrypted connection to our AI image-processing
provider, turned into your result, and returned to you. Your photos are not stored permanently on
our servers and are never used to train AI models. Taplun shows no ads inside the
app. We use Meta’s (Facebook’s) SDK only to measure how well our own ads work, and only with your
permission — iOS asks you first (App Tracking Transparency) and you can decline or change it anytime. We never sell
your data.
1. Who we are
Taplun (“we”, “us”) is operated by Blick3d, Inc. This policy explains what data the Taplun mobile app collects,
why, and how it is handled. You can reach us any time at support@taplun.app.
2. Data we process and why
- Photos you add. The photos you select — a face, a scene, a product or a building — are transmitted over
an encrypted connection to our AI image-processing provider
(fal.ai) to generate your professional result,
which is returned to you. Photos are processed only to create your result — they are not stored
permanently and are not used to train any AI model.
- Device identifier. The app generates a random identifier stored on your device and sends it
with requests so we can track your plan / remaining photos and subscription status. It is not your name, email, or
a social account — there is no sign-up.
- Purchases. Subscription status is used to grant the plan you bought.
Payment and card details are never shared with us; they are processed solely by Apple.
- Advertising measurement (Meta). Taplun includes Meta’s (Facebook’s) SDK to measure the
performance of our own advertising campaigns — for example, whether an ad led to an install or a subscription. If,
and only if, you allow tracking when iOS asks (App Tracking Transparency), this may include your device’s
advertising identifier (IDFA); if you decline, no advertising identifier is used. You can change this anytime in iOS
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
3. Third parties we share data with
We only use the service providers needed to run the app, and we do not sell your data:
- fal.ai — AI image processing. To generate your result, fal.ai may run leading AI image models from providers such as Google and OpenAI. Policy: fal.ai/privacy
- Railway — server/hosting infrastructure used to process your requests.
- Apple — handles all in-app purchases and payments.
- Meta Platforms — advertising-measurement / attribution SDK, used only with your consent (App Tracking Transparency). Policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy
No data is shared with any other third party, and your data is never sold.
4. Advertising & tracking choices
Taplun shows no ads inside the app. We use Meta’s (Facebook’s) SDK solely to measure our own
advertising — to understand which campaigns bring people to Taplun. On first launch, iOS asks whether you allow
tracking (the App Tracking Transparency prompt). If you allow it, attribution may use your device’s advertising
identifier; if you decline, it does not. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy
& Security → Tracking. We never sell your personal data.
5. Data retention
- Photos: processed temporarily for the duration of the operation and deleted once the result is returned.
- Plan / remaining photos & purchase status: kept while your device record is active so your plan works across sessions.
6. Children
Taplun is a general-audience app and is not directed to children. Please do not use the app if you are below the
minimum age required in your country to consent to the processing of personal data.
7. AI consent
Before your first generation, the app asks you to consent to sending your photos to our AI image-processing
provider (fal.ai). You can revoke this consent any time in Settings → Revoke AI consent; you will be
asked again before the next generation.
8. Your choices & deletion
In the app, open Settings → Delete my data to remove your local data and your device record on our
servers. You can also email support@taplun.app to request deletion, and we
will process your request within a reasonable time.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the updated version will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, announced in the app.
